So far 2009 will see us supporting the BRISTOL BMX CLUB at their races and rocking the  ST GEORGE JAM again. More plans in the pipeline ...

Here's the round up from this year's ST George Jam on 7th September 2008, the rain stayed away and the crowds came out in force!:

For the past 6 years Body English and Mynath have been supporting the local grass roots BMX scene in Bristol. With the "St.George Ghetto fun jam" which started in 2003, a free yearly event featuring live music, art exhibitions, and BMX and skateboard competitions with more craziness besides! This years event went off with true ghetto style courtesy of some serious basslines from two super phat soundsystems and beatboxing loopstyles from MC extraordianire, Dub Fx. This really got the vibe going, with the skatepark full of bmxers and skaters riding the skatepark and enjoying the 2 new spine ramps we built on the day. These were provided courtesy of wood we sourced and blagged ha (thanks to Rackham's Reclamation) and help from volunteer ramp builders (Seb you are a legend).

In the Bmx comp we had plenty of shredders, but when all was said and done, Sam came 3rd with some super big barspins and airs, local Reece put the F in flow with silky smooth 360's, backflips, the highest boosts and so much style. But this years crown went to Ricky, representing team Body English, with big turndown 360's, sweet airs out the 16ft vert wall, super clicked
tables, nice 180 backflips and bags of style.

Body English and Mynath are committed to continue with the development and rebuilding of St.Georges skatepark, after completing stage 1 in 2005 where we raised funding for a new vert wall, volcano, quarter and flatbank. We are now starting fundraising for stage 2 where we plan to build more concrete ramps and repair the exisiting ones.

Big thanks go out to Shiners, Crucial Bmx, Magpie Art Studios, The Divine Collective and Dirt Soundsystem for their support making the day happen.

Also this year we will be sponsoring the Bristol BMX race series at Patchway, with prizes including helmets & protection from "THE industries", Body English and Mynath clothing. All are available to buy at www.mynath.com.

HOPE TO SEE YA ALL SAME TIME SAME PLACE NEXT YEAR!
